Arrival

Rooms are available from 2.30pm on the day of arrival. If you arrive earlier you may leave your car in the car park and you may have access to your room if ready.

Departure

Rooms are to be vacated by 10.30am on the day of departure. If you wish to spend more time in Torbay you can leave your luggage in the lounge.

Payment.

When you make a reservation we do not take anything from the card unless you fail to show or cancel without sufficient notice, see cancellation. We will require payment on arrival for which we accept cards and cash. 

Reservations and deposits:

Bookings will be reserved for up to seven days and confirmed is upon receipt of deposit or debit or credit card number.

A deposit of £25.00 per person is required. This may be paid by debit / credit card.

Cancellation:

Should you cancel with less than 14 days notice:

If you cancel with 48 hours or less before arrival than we will require full payment for the price quoted to you.

Between 14 and 2 days 50% payment will be required. Between 14 days and 28 days the deposit will be asked for.

 We recommend taking out holiday insurance to cover any misfortunes.

Final Accounts:

Outstanding bills will be presented during your stay and are to be settled upon receipt. Accepted payment methods are credit/debit card or cash.

Smoking:

The Kings Lodge is completely non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted in the garden and guests are asked to use the ashtrays and bins provided. As a condition of booking any infringement will result with the individual or party being asked to leave with immediate effect. No refunds will be given.

Parking:

The car park is available for guest use. Guests are advised that Torbay is a relatively low crime area but please do not to leave valuables on display in your car.

We cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal property or vehicles during your stay.

Damage:

Any damage caused, for whatever reason will be charged for at full replacement cost.

Termination of Contract:

The proprietors have the right to terminate a contract for any guest who in our opinion behaves unreasonably or detrimentally to the well being of other guests. In any event no refund will be due.

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions without notice.
